L’antisémitisme en Pologne aujourd’hui
Résumé :
En Pologne, comme ailleurs, il y a eu une sorte de translation entre le mot sioniste et le mot juif. Aux élections présidentielles de 2025, les trois partis d’extrême-droite, dont l’un d’entre eux est clairement antisémite, dépassent les 50% des suffrages exprimés. L’électorat de ces partis est majoritairement masculin et appartient à la classe moyenne au capital culturel assez élevé. Le PiS a relancé le récit de la martyrologie polonaise de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, moyen de banaliser la singularité du martyre de la population juive polonaise.
Abstract : Antisemitism today in Poland
In Poland, as elsewhere, there was a kind of translation between the word zionist and the word jew. In the presidential elections of 2025, the three extreme-right parties, one of which is clearly antisemitic, exceeded 50 % of the votes cast. The electorate of these parties is predominantly male and belongs to the middle class with fairly high cultural capital. The PiS revived the narrative of Polish martyrology from the Second World War, a way to trivialize the uniqueness of the martyrdom of the Polish Jewish population.
